Israel says it has launched a “preventative” strike on Iran and is preparing for retaliation.
On Friday, Donald Trump said he had not made a final decision on whether to launch US strikes on Iran – but added he was “not happy” with the situation, and that military force, including regime change, remained an option.
Honestly, this feels like a good thing for democracy, in a roundabout way.
If the US military is stuck in an Iranian quagmire, it becomes harder to use it to terrorize citizens on the domestic front. I wish they’d send the donut eaters from ICE to the front.
Not really, when we are at war the rah rah crowd that believes these pieces of shit gives them more leeway, and is less likely to buck on something like pretti’s execution.

This is fair, and I apologize.
My country has been at war everywhere for so long that I’m desensitized to it. What I wrote above was meant as an objective hypothetical, but was wildly insensitive.
I do not support war. I am just powerless to stop it, so it’s easier for me to speak insensitively about it, and I shouldn’t.
If I had any power whatsoever to stop this, I would.
