Whatever that is, it isn’t a Mobius strip. This has two twists.
It’s a Twöbius strip
This is what you get if you cut a Möbius strip along its length. And if you were to cut it again now, you’d get two intertwined rings.
Wait, really? I thought intertwined rings was the first thing you got.
But I haven’t thought about this for a few decades.
Here’s a video: https://youtube.com/shorts/KfbCbYSebW0
Apparently if you cut it just once, but not along the centerline, off to one side, you then get a normal ring and a twisty one intertwined. Things are weird: https://youtube.com/shorts/QmrIPBavH8o
Double the twists, half the surface area
That isn’t a Möbius strip, it’s that annoying thing that sometimes happens to my seatbelt

What would this shape be called if it were pasta?
Twistelli
Calamarata or Anelli
Since it’s the OP image is not a Möbius strip
no see what’s so strange about this shape is it only has one side. because it’s a squashed cylinder.
Edit: gee, tough crowd. möbius strips typically do not have a thickness.
