We were promised our own representatives that we still don’t have. As you may be able to imagine, the white people who are elected state wide don’t always have the best interests of Native peoples in mind.
Native Americans can vote in state and national elections and are supposed to be represented in Congress by the senators and representative of the state they live in, but they are not represented directly by a native with equal standing and their land and rights are usually not a priority for their legislators or states they live in.
Well, that’s a good question. In all seriousness, probably Liberia. If they get to that point. Lots of cases have been overturned but that doesn’t stop ICE from kidnapping and holding whoever they want.
The mask is off, they aren’t pretending. We shouldn’t either. We need to respond.
The natives are especially valuable for environmental issues, as their treaties dicatate rights, and they are on the right side of all such issues. But the fed courts are going to hell so that is ending.
No shit, in case you haven’t noticed, the “white” people elected don’t have the best interests of white people in mind either. You are barking up the wrong tree, this is a class war, and we are losing.
Neither do Puerto Ricans, Guamanians, American Samoans, or Virgin Islanders. Congressional representation is a bad joke, and the house hasn’t expanded seats since 1910 which greatly privileges representation for smaller population states.
The Reapportionment Act of 1929 was a bullet to the head for representational democracy in the United States. It just took nearly a hundred years for us to realize how fatal the wound was.

Don’t forget that ICE is kidnapping and trying to deport Native Americans.
where… uhh… do they try to deport them? holy shit.

Hard to win if you don’t do anything other than SLAMMING them.
Whatcha mean? This makes no sense to me. Or I suspect to anyone with sense unless I misunderstand your seeming point.
