As of Jan 6 2026, there were at least 33 people pardoned for their role in the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot have been convicted of, charged with or arrested in connection with additional crimes since the attack.
Hasn’t it? Because I seem to remember reading this headline on previous occasions, more than once.
Probably because previous stories were reporting the arrest, trial, conviction, etc. This is the sentencing. You’d have to check the previous stories to be sure.
Maybe it’s a bit of both?
