Bringing oil to avert us-imposed famine in Cuba is good, regardless of who does it.

Imposing the blockade in the first place is what reflects bad on him, you don’t have to come out on the side of famine. If he stops with Iran, are you going to mock him for not bombing more schools?

You’re saying not doing the thing which is causing a spike in hunger, infant mortality, etc reflects badly on Trump.

If I stab you, I wouldn’t say pulling the knife out reflects positively on me, but pulling the knife out certainly doesn’t reflect negatively.

You are outraged for a reason you shouldn’t be.

If you stab me, and you pull the knife out to stab someone else, then pulling the knife out does not reflect positively on you. In fact, it reflects negatively on you because you want to stab someone else.

Just because your action has an unintended positive effect does not make you good suddenly.

Otherwise you could say stuff like “Trump is doing a good thing because he brings Europeans together in opposition and independence of the US!”. No, him being an asshole is still a bad thing, even if some of his actions might have a positive effect.

Man whatever videos they’ve got stashed away on him must be some pretty bad shit if hes willing to suck Putins dick like this. The man is narcissism personified, and has shrugged off the fact that he’s a child rapist, but whatever they’ve got must be orders of magnitude worse for him to be such a little fuckin bitch with Vladimir.

I mean, the coast guard was boarding Russian shadow fleet vessels a few months ago.

I think he just thinks people have forgotten the suffering is suffering HE imposed, so he can bail on the blockade and seem like he’s being helpful.

Also, the desired strategic outcomes aren’t materializing in Cuba. He had a plan. The plan isn’t working.

Also, quite frankly, he has bigger problems. Seems like he actually is hitting his threshold of confrontation.

He think if he lets oil tankers go thru, and Iran doesn’t, then suddenly everyone will agree Donnie is the victim…

In 48 hours or less, he’ll have brought up how Iran’s blockade “isn’t fair” because of this. And absolutely lose his shit when it changes no one’s mind.

It’s not a blockade. It’s a quarantine. stop listening to what they say and not what they mean! (For legal reasons)

The news media has been overtly incompetent here. As you say, it is not a blockade.

If it was a blockade, then the Russian ships would be stopped. Since it is not a blockade, only an idiot would expect the Russian ships to be stopped.

And after the media circle-jerking each other into falsely calling it a blockade, the media is surprised that the ships are not stopped by the “blockade”.
