Ope:

TACO’d already!
Finally the slightest bit of GOOD news.
A reminder:
Marco Antonio Rubio was born in 1971 in Miami, Florida.[2] He is the second son and third child of Mario Rubio Reina[3] and Oriales (née García) Rubio.[4] His parents were Cubans, of Spanish and Italian descent, who immigrated to the United States in 1956

*Rafael Edward Cruz was born on December 22, 1970,[4][5] at Foothills Medical Centre[6][7] in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Cruz’s mother was born in Wilmington, Delaware. Cruz’s father, Rafael, was born and raised in Cuba, the son of a Canary Islander who immigrated to Cuba as a child.[

Is this the real reason Rubio wants to take Cuba so badly? So he can say his parents were in a US territory
If I got to watch the livestream of Cruz getting dragged away by ICE with a slow zoom in on his face I might actually die with a smile on mine
Gotta intimidate the justices to make sure they remember who they belong to.
He tried that during the state of the union address and it didn’t seem to work. Still don’t have any faith in that court however.
If anything, the more he leans on them the less they do his bidding. They’re all part of the same fascist project, but some of them want to do it the old way where they pretend to be serious people doing a job. Their words often end up as legal nonsense, but they’ve gone through the motions and formatted it as if they were professional. Trump showing up to stare them down is an insult to their pride.
The court is extremely conservative, but they are exactly that — they are not MAGA.
So you’re gonna get a lot of disgusting rulings from them, but very little favoritism to Trump specifically.
They pretty clearly want fascism. Just not under Trump
Take a listen to the oral arguments and the Court’s responses. They’re gonna strike this one down for sure, possibly even 9-0.
Definitely gonna do this, I just read NPR’s article and agree that they’re not letting this one fly.
“The Trump administration argues that the common view of citizenship is wrong, asserting that children of noncitizens are not “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States and therefore are not entitled to citizenship.”
So if children of noncitizens are not “subject to the jurisdiction” of the US, then they cannot be detained, deported, or held accountable to any of our laws. Can’t have it both ways dummies.
They’re having it every which way they desire without any consequences so… Seems like they can, from way over here anyway.
If he wants to change the Constitution, there’s a process for that. Good luck.
I have a compromise… get rid of birthright citizenship… and every other kind too.
