I cried a lot watching this. Jon just laid it all out there. Tough to do. Really important for people to see. Never a bad reminder that vulnerability makes you strong, not weak.

I cried, all 218 tattoo’d lbs of me, shuddering big fat ugly tears. Scared my wife, then she cried, and we held eachother and our best boy was like ‘whats happening? ARE YOU GUYS OK?!’ so we had to stop

Im not going to lie, I watched it yesterday and seeing these comments is bringing it all back up, I love you all

Man, it’s been over a year since my girl left, and I still can’t watch stuff like that.

No fucking idea how he’s able to function.

Taking a wild guess, b/c he cares for us too. He seems to genuinely believe that he can help, by offering his voice of sanity into this hellscape world that we find ourselves in now, aka he did not just show up for his “job” but reported for duty at his station in this war against disinformation. And he is right - I find it extremely comforting, and I doubt that I am anywhere close to being alone in that:-).

Not alone at all. It shows his humanity and his strength that he could both get the job done for us, and still be able to share what he did.

        Thanks. I really appreciate it.

I can’t imagine being able to willpower through a day of filming like that, having to be surrounded and “on” for extended periods. The guy has nothing but respect and sympathy from me.

D’aaawww. Im am so happy Jon Stewart is back on the air.

I still have my best boy. His name is Bailey and he is the sweetest boy (except for when my wife is pregnant, then he is frightening.) Bailey can run so fast and leap a 6’ fence from a standstill, but he wont. Our fence is 3’ and he just respects the fence. Such a good boy. I think he deserves a treat now.

I feel sorry for the pain of him and his family, but it really is excellent he shared this all with us. I cried seeing just how loved their 3 legged best boy was.
