SEATO apparently. Did not know that existed
I think it is actually generally short for “Government Issue” as a kinda a reference that they are government issue like everything else in a soldiers life
I disagree. He doesn’t love money. He covets the respect and power that he believes money brings with it and if forever angry that even with the presidency he can’t get the true respect he believes he is entitled to.
Can you think of any other way that seems likely?
Cool, thank you. It’s hard to find clear info out there

From what I have been reading they are planning to charge all users who are streaming remotely… Even if the host is paying.
“If you want to watch you library away from home you’ll have to pay. It also affects anyone you share your home library with. They will have to pay if they are not Plex Pass subscribers themselves. Plex will offer a Remote Watch Pass tier for $2/month or $20/year.”
Now, I am not saying this is by any means a big amount of money or making a judgment call about the reasonableness of them charging for what services… But it definitely seems like they want to ensure they are getting cash from everyone who ever touches Plex. Again, $2 a month is very little, but that’s on top of the charges for the host
They are pushing to make users pay as well
In school in a sanctuary district? I wouldn’t let them in with a warrant. ICE can fuck off.
Memes only matter if they effect revenue. If profit climbed then the stupid stays.
Memes don’t matter if revenue climbed
It’s two cartons of eggs, each container is a dozen and a half. Eggs are normally in units of a dozen so keeping that as a consistent unit across multiple brands and styles makes sense. Costco normally indicates how many things are packaged together more than the overall total. It’s useful to know the format.
If it was on tray of 36 eggs the would have used 3 dozen and the indicator to keep it consistent with the standard unit of eggs.
I think in the third case the symbiont wouldn’t be in Sto’Vo’Kor. It didn’t die. So a Jadzia returning would be without Dax. So then the question would be would she return with the Dax memories or not.
Didn’t Wesley go to some special testing that had the geniuses competing for one specific seat. I recall he basically went there because there happened to be a particular available slot rather than just the general admission.
From the episode:
Captain’s log, stardate 41416.2. We’re orbiting Relva Seven, where Wesley Crusher is about to be tested for entrance into Starfleet Academy.
CHANG: I’m proud of all of you. You’ve done a superb job. Each of you would make a fine Starfleet officer. It’s unfair that only one candidate from Relva will attend the Academy this year, and a loss to the Federation if the rest of you do not return to test again. Mister Mordock will be the candidate. His results were slightly higher than Mister Crusher’s. Congratulations, Mister Mordock. You’re the first Benzite in Starfleet.
So I think it has much more to do with the timing of his attempt that mattered. Had he just waited with everyone else it wouldn’t have been such an intense competition
