Walz took students to a campaign rally for then-President George W. Bush and watched as they were questioned by security because one had a John Kerry sticker on their wallet. After that, Walz volunteered for Kerry, retired from the National Guard after 24 years when Bush launched his illegal war, and beat the GOP incumbent for his seat. This one story told me everything I needed to know about Walz’s political origin and path, and reminds me that GWB deserves no fond nostalgia.

His affair didn’t get less confirmed over time, but it clearly is less remembered.

Accused adulterer? He cheated on his first wife with the woman who became his second wife. He is a known adulterer. This is public knowledge.

Do you really need CarPlay? I’ve been relying on phone mounts in my car for years. Now with MagSafe, I stick my iPhone on and stream audio over Bluetooth, no plug/unplug. Aside from that, viewing navigation on my iPhone allows me to move around the map so I can see what turns are coming up. The CarPlay decks I’ve seen don’t allow moving around the map on screen and only show text directions on iPhone. For me, stick-and-go is a better and seamless experience.
