Windows has the free zones powertoy which does the same. So its an option but not in the OS by default.
Exactly the same here too. As a teenager we also all pitched in on a CD burner when they first came out and kept it at the BBS’s owners place, I just remember a single CD took forever back then when it was 1x and 2x recording speed. That allowed us to share a ton more without everyone having to get together on the LAN.
I got my first job with AIX in the early 2000’s after the previous admin did a reinstall of the OS vs an upgrade on prod, with unverified backups. It was a resume generating event.
They lost over 3 months of data and barely survived it.
I actually have a death date. It helps a lot with being able to plan my life and live in a way where I’ll be happy with my life if I were to die tommorow.
If I reach that date then great, anything after I just consider a bonus lol

I had the same problem too, I ended up buying a USB Bluetooth transmitter. I figured the board was bad until I replaced it and had the same problem with the new one

Have you worked in several all female crews as well? Its hard to judge when you don’t have a baseline to consider.
This is spot on from my experience as well, you can even see this dynamic play out within individual departments in the same company.

Not only that, but it’s no longer your problem when its in the cloud. You can blame the cloud for everything!
This makes a good niche use case for AI, estimating future cashflow is trying to consume a huge amount of regularly changing data to create forecasting. The vast majority of that job would be helped by a tool of this sort, but it still requires human input that knows the companies market and other contexts relevant to their company and specific industry.
It sounds like its a big deal but its really not. Even in billion dollar companies there’s usually only one person doing this job.
The sooner it all goes to shit, the sooner we can move on.
Agreed, happily single for over 8 years here. So much time to myself to do what I enjoy.
Not just owning stocks but prohibited from all markets. The options market is not the stock market, neither are futures or currency markets, bond markets, etc. They have the power to manipulate all of these and should be barred from all forms accordingly.
The problem with that is there is no middle ground, because then you rely on it daily. So you have the option of being a habitual user and living each day in a semi haze or trying other things instead
