I’m really surprised how well the “flooding the zone with shit” tactics are working out… Get a grip people. Focus on what’s really important.

Wtf. only the government should be allowed to criticize the government, because everybody else is a backbencher. What are these people, 12 year olds playing Fortnite? Just wow.

And the crazy part of this philanthropy is that there’s no guarantee to anything. These oligarchs live like kings amongst men and we can see ourselves lucky to be in the light of their philanthropic sun.

I mean yes thank you Bill Gates for not being such a dipshit like Elon, but I also think that this kind of power should not be in the hands of individuals ever.

Cause as you said: the harm they caused (actively or passively by f.e. not paying taxes in countries outside the US and therefore stealing money from governments and people) can never be fixed by any philanthropy.

You just don’t get that kind of rich without being an asshole along the way.

This detail makes all the difference. At least one of you guys will have the energy, and you’ll just have to manage your lives very transparently. Rather then expecting things, say them out loud to each other, communication will make a big deal.

And although it might seem problematic to your son, just quote " life uuuugh finds a way" and he’ll accept you for the dinosaur you think you are. You’re both grown ups and don’t need each other’s opinions on life, but should treat each other with respect.

Yeah probably as always only a matter of perspective. Don’t listen to other men, just do what feels right for yourself.

I took a solid 9 months paternity leave with my son, and I think we just built the best base for a father son relationship I could ever imagine or hope to have. I know they don’t seem like it as a baby, but you are building your foundation already.

This was 3 years ago and I still feel the outcome of it every day.

Don’t be so sure that these lies, or “this style of politics” is only enabling the downfall in the US. The Internet is breaching the barrier of what once was the big pond separating us from the US.

It’s already used in modern politics around the world as justification for similar topics. Some people even demand “DOGE-like” actions against bureaucracy in countries of the EU. Be a little more like Musk.
