I’m trying a new system of DM’ing in-person DnD games where I’ve got my laptop plugged in to a TV everyone can see, and my players pass around a wireless KB+M to move their tokens around.
It works well enough, but I have to remember to “give them the cursor back” when I’m done doing things on the laptop screen, otherwise they can’t find it, haha

My bad, I forgot there were two episodes on this, I think maybe you only saw the first one or parts of it. There was a huge wooden structure with hundreds of mirrors arranged in a concave shape that almost perfectly aligned all mirrors’ reflections into one spot and absolutely nothing happened. Even with perfect mirrors and modern construction tools and techniques we couldn’t recreate it.
FWIW, resin is toxic and you need to wear gloves to handle it. So the gunk would never be on your hands.

I actually had a way harder time adapting a story vs coming up with my own. I took a premade adventure that didn’t really have a “story”, just a bunch of quests the PCs could do to level up before fighting the big bad, and tried to make an actual arc out of it. It was really rough, and some of the quests you could tell were reeeally stretching it.
Came up with an idea for a bad guy. Looked up some lore to see where this guy may have come from, what type of being he may be, etc, and from there came up with a pretty cool back story, a couple of assistants/ underlings, and one or two plot hooks. It’s nowhere near done but it’s already way more interesting with more room to explore than the “easy peasy rearrange stuff” module I attempted.
So the Xbox 720 is twice as good as the one before it, but the 900 only gives you a 25% increase? Who’d buy that garbage?

My goal with the app would be to make people aware of these drivers, because it’s of public concern.
How does having the face and license plate number of a dangerous driver going to make a biker or skater safer? Do you look at a car’s license plate and refer to a list of safe and dangerous drivers before deciding your next move? If not, I don’t think having identifying information makes the public any more aware than videos with that information removed.
Something like this just has way too high of a potential to be abused, while offering very little in terms of public safety outside of the encouragement of vigilante justice.
Imagine this: you’re a perfectly safe driver, and a biker makes an unsafe move. Their camera doesn’t capture the full picture, but shows the biker almost get hit by your car. Now the internet is on a witch hunt with your face and license plate number because “YOu cOuLd haVe kiLLeD hiM!!!”

This is what hurts the most tbh. Miss the days when all your friends were playing the same handful of games, everyone was talking about the same handful of movies and TV shows, etc. Of course variety is great and being able to choose where to invest your time is better than being locked in to a small pool of choices, but it sucks when you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a masterpiece, and nobody cares about it.

It was probably 10 years ago, but I’m in the US and had one of these on my debit card for a few days. I believe it’s if you use a physical card at the pump.
That’s pretty staggering. I hate moving fluids up long distances like that, so I’ve grown to expand those guys horizontally rather than vertically.
I built this a while back, but its the BFF (big fucking factory) that I’m most proud of, it’s my current aluminum processing plant (built where your power plant is, coincidentally) that perfectly efficiently runs all 6 of the pure bauxite nodes into aluminum ingots.

I’m on my 6th attempt to finish the game. I’m further than I’ve ever been, I just unlocked nuclear power and drones last night but went to bed before I started messing with either.
