Even if the person who made this wasn’t familiar with the Arch logo (questionable for anyone claiming to have made an OS) a simple reverse image search would have shown this logo was already taken.
AI seems to be the only thing propping up the American economy which is essentially one giant pump-and-dump scheme right now.
It’s not actually supposed to lead anywhere, just make a few people a ton of money on the road to enshitification.

This is a neat idea and it will totally work, but they need to be the EXACT same files down to the checksums and file names. This could be harder to pull off than it sounds but it’s absolutely possible.

My guess is that the EFF is mostly concerned with the fact this is a class action and also worried about expanding copyright in general.
