The guy’s out of his fucking mind. The fact that he still has even a remote chance of winning is absurd.

I’ve posted this so many times.

Back in 2016 there was a panel of the creators behind all the top political TV dramas. Veep, West Wing, House of Cards, Scandal et al. Every writer and producer said the same thing. If they had a fictional character say that they ‘liked soldiers who didn’t get captured’ the advertisers and networks would have demanded that the character be depicted as being hated by all Americans.

I vote for Trump’s next four years: dunking chair.

Anyone can throw cantaloupes/tomatoes at a target. Square hit, he’s dunked in fake blood water. Miss, you might hit him in the face. Or in the nuts.

their media (fox mostly) has been saying joe biden is a braindead machiavellian corrupt elderly mafia guy who hates christians for years who plans to import catholic immigrants using an open border and free citizenship to undermine the republican party.

I guess its bizarre that so many people believe enough of it that they’re willing to back a braindead corrupt elderly mafia guy who hates poor people and women.

And convinced that if he loses it can only be because the Democrats cheated and/or the undocumented immigrants voted and/or some other nefariousness.

I was so hopeful for the world when I heard someone shot at Trump. They really missed but were looking into a better shot. . Then I heard about some traitors to Democracy putting an end to it. We were so close! Two inches to a better world.

Frankly if he was killed by that shot it would massively help Republicans and secure a massive win.

Republicans could pick up another candidate (note that this was just 3 days before RNC), whomever RNC would pick the MAGA would fold, because what they can do, trump is dead and they won’t vote for evil Biden who likely “ordered the assassination”. Non MAGA Republicans would likely come back. There likely could even be Democrats who would vote for another candidate because they believed it was to eliminate competition after “failed Biden’s debate”.

The new GOP candidate (for example Nikki) unlike trump would be more likely to work for the benefit of the party. It would be a nice Republican reboot that’s would not destroy the party.

That’s why I believe, if there was actual conspiracy, the most likely involved group would be GOP.

The assassination (successful or not) would work against Biden and Democrats.

It’s also interesting that not long before this event Nikki mentioned that the party that wins is the one that replaces their candidate with a younger one first. We know that trump would never step down by himself.

Maybe it would have meant a win for the GOP, maybe it wouldn’t. There are a lot of people in the party kissing his ass because to not is near party political suicide at this point. They know that if they can get his endorsement it almost guarentees a win. Just putting “maga candidate” on their flyers/signs gives them an advantage because maga will vote maga 100% of the time.

How many different gop politicians had bad things to say about him on twitch and then once he was elected did a 180 and had nothing but good things to say?

The difference is that people like Haley, Cruz, Greene, Graham, and Gaetz don’t have the same accessable idiot charisma with a career of simple braindead tv shows and 40 years of pushing their names consistently into the public discourse like trump does.

They can’t just poorly string together a line of nonsense words and phrases like trump can and expect people to listen lihe they do for trump.

Your 70/80-something year old grandparents aren’t going to give away their life savings willingly like they do for trump. They aren’t going to hang banners with the heads of those other politicians and muscular gon-toting bodies of 80s combat action stars like they do for the wrinkly, droopy, orange, wig and diaper wearing old man trump.

He is an ideal for them. A greedy “rich” powerful no-bs get-things-done businessman (or woman) that at one time they all knew they would be if it wasn’t for that one thing out of their control that held them back. And the fact that he (and they) are in the tail end of their twilight years and trump is still out there crushing it in a world where the elderly are tossed out and forgotten or a burden on their families gives them false hope that he will speak for them and give them the dignified end they think they deserve.

The world passed them by long ago and trump is that last thread back to when they were young and relevant. Cut that thread and with it goes the last bit of hope they have to be remembered when they’re gone.

Checking in from the bay area, the southern border, and deep inland SoCal… We all pretty much hate Trump. I thought deep inland I’d find people who like him… No. No, there aren’t any of those here.

If there are any, they are embarrassed by the weird. I get it. I’m embarrassed for those people, too.

Unfortunately all those who love him moved to Texas. And few are coming to Oklahoma too. Which makes these places redder then they used to be.

But of course they and bitch about the heat and all the benefits they don’t have now thanks to moving out of California.

Yucaipa (San Bernardino foothills) checking in, some of the old bastards (this can mean men and women) like him but theyre fucking stupid so…yeah. There even used to be a Trump car but it burned last year, critical overheat of the engine. Someone broke the bottom of the radiator while it was raining and then it fucken overheated fast.

So yeah the rural parts of the IE have some trumpers but they aint well liked by us younger folks.

Plenty of them in orange county too. Of course it’s the rich areas, actual people who benefit from exploiting employees and tax cuts. The ones I work with are barely competent enough to keep their job and they’re lucky the owner is old and tech illiterate, if he chose to update our work flow like other companies in the same industry he would be making more money but also probably have to fire some people here who can’t even use outlook or their browser properly.

I live in New York. Donald Trump was born and raised in New York, and spent decades pushing himself onto the local media. He lost his home town by 90%. Twice. The second time, people braved Covid to dance in the streets.
