Russia’s primary goal since 2015 has been to keep us from trusting one another, and I expect them to ramp up messaging to leftist groups over the next few months. Yeah, same, I’ve been largely numb and cold, more angry than scared or wanting to cry, but it wouldn’t be immediately apparent when you talk to me in person (not that I let anyone get close enough to do that these days). Part of it is that we’ve been through it before—last time, he was still an unknown quantity, a question mark. However, we have more than an inkling as to what sort of inhuman shit to expect this time around, so we best spend some time getting prepared.
