Its always interesting and telling how people respond to things. Your assumption that I don’t own a fire arm tells me more about you than it ever would myself.
Why did that lead you to respond in such an angry manner?
I think you need to take a breath and check to see if you’ve made any correct assumptions whatsoever in this conversation. The tone of my response couldn’t be more sanguine.
I personally think there arent enough guns being used properly. But then again I think the funny shooty shooty bang bang sticks should be used to shed the blood of Saxon men.
As a non-right wing, non-psychopath, I’m uncomfortable with the idea of owning a gun at all.
I don’t want one in my home and I don’t want one on my person. Even if I did purchase one and ended up using it to protect myself, the knowledge that I took a human’s life would be too much for me to live with.

The problem there is the government already has most of the guns and are very, very willing to use them.
When was the last time the military used the guns against its population?
Every day, when the militarized police kill innocent people extrajudicially.
That baby was coming right for 'em.
54 years, I think?
Wounded Knee (the second one not the original one) was 1973.
Kent State in '70. The Bonus Army (homeless WWI vets) in the 30s. Blair Mountain (coal miners on strike) and the Tulsa Race Massacre in '21.
Only a half dozen times in the last 100 years or so.
