I am assuming this is referring to medicated ADHD. Stimulates are often associated with decreased hunger. When I was on vyvanse I completely lost my sense of hunger and only went off my bloodsuger. Like “damn I feel dizzy and zombie like. Food time”
currently none because my insurance says i need something called a “prior authorization” which means i have to spend hours playing phone tag with my doctor first 🫠
I am hoping that amphetamine salts will help me not be bored-hungry all the time and help with motivation to get to the gym regularly. I miss being healthy :[
Maybe I don’t have ADHD after all 🤔
Late to this party, but I binge eat when I’m off my meds.
I lost 45 lbs (~20 kilos) the first year I was on meds. Didn’t skip meals or anything - just stopped eating second whole meals after the first.

I’m on Focalin and I can’t relate so it probably is the medicine 👍
Aaah suddenly this makes a lot more sense, thanks for the clarification.
I’m undiagnosed (finally should get that done… 🫣), so I have absolutely no experience with the medication.
I think it has to do with the medicine. I’m on a less common ADHD medication and I don’t get like this. Unless I’m working for some reason 🤷♀️
i have the fat kid flavor of adhd where i eat all the time for the dopamines
what medicine are you on if you don’t mind me asking?

ADHD is also connected with increased rates of obesity. While some forget to eat, others can’t stop eating in that never ending search for dopamine.
Sigh, not surprised.
Easy solution: just start smoking
