And yet America wouldn’t even elect that, given the choice.
Trump told america want it wanted to hear and america has a fifteen second attention span.
I mean sure, if what America wanted to hear was “day 1 dictator”, “mass deportations”, “tariffs”, and “finish the job [in Gaza]”.
He’s doing exactly what he promised. This is exactly what America voted for.

I hate to say it, but he’s not wrong. China is a better partner that the USA under trump.
They will be for some time. Until they need to cash in all their soft power
China goes wolf warrior diplomacy from time so that’s a given. It’s what made many countries to make sure to not fully commit to trade with China.

China has invested a ton of money and diplomatic efforts in Southeast Asia for the past 5 years, and for the next four all Xi has to do is point at Rump to negotiate closer ties.
China is the safer economic and defense partner at least until rump is gone, and probably for much longer.
He won’t leave in 2028
