Jenkins in the article: “there has to be an arrest that takes place of an agent, which requires an intermediary set by another law enforcement agency.” Seems she’s passing the buck to law enforcement.

Edit: I’m not trying to defend her, I’m just quoting her actual excuse for reference.

      Bruh…

Do you legitimately believe a DA and cops don’t have a close enough working relationship that the DA can (and frequently do) say something like: “Do this or I’ll refuse to press charges for shit you want”.

I’m fucking sick of this learned helplessness.

You won’t even fucking ask the people with power to help, to even help.

If you’re gonna be like this. At least keep your own head in the stand and stop chasing everyone else around throwing sand at us

Be ignorant and ineffective if that’s what you want. But let the people who know how to fix it and want to fix it actually fucking do something.

Like, that was the entire point of my original comment, and you just stumbled in to tell everyone you don’t understand any of this, and maybe we should try just not opposing fascism.

      Quick edit:

For some constructive feedback, the right course is to ask questions, not just make assumptions including that if you don’t know something, it means it don’t exist.

You could have just sked how the DA could apply pressure to make the arrests happen. That’s an incredibly common thing, but not everyone knows.

But just ask fucking questions instead of making up excuses for people unwilling to fight fascism.

You watch a lot of TV fiction, don’t you?
