But it’s good that the display of previous art, with even Craftopia being listed and accepted as one that had the same “monster capturing” mechanic, despite that game being originally a “Breath of the Wild clone with crafting survival”

They can’t, and that’s why this was a patent case. And they certainly can be patented.
