Sounds to me like she was understandably following all of that safety advice of “What to do when a masked lunatic tries to carjack you at gunpoint” and get the heck out of there.
What if she did comply? Would she get harassed for hours and eventually released or suddenly find herself on a cargo plane to friggin Djibouti or something? It’s insane that we can’t know. No friggin’ WONDER she took her chances with fleeing!
