Im going back to old albums and this week, the mood is poignant Tracy Chapmans Fast Car.

I’m listening to this 1995 masterpiece every day after my workout lately:

Fun Fact: Thích Quảng Đức, the monk in the picture was not protesting the Vietnam War, but rather the Catholic oppression of the Buddhist majority by the American puppet government.
Fast Car is one of those songs that always makes me cry.
I’ve been listening to Bob Marley & the Wailers:
Get up, stand up: stand up for your right Get up, stand up: don’t give up the fight
Fast Car is a classic.
Open invitation to you and everyone else to post what you’re listening to on !eternalplaylist@crazypeople.online so even more people can enjoy. 💚
😚 Thanks always good to find a new community.
I just got The Coup - Genocide and Juice
whole album and have been enjoying the heck out of it even if I still can’t find Sorry To Bother You physically.Otherwise I “discovered” Ghost: The Future is a Foreign Land has been hurting me in a nice way.
Black pumas did a good cover of this. I freaking love Black Pumas so much

My favorite band Red Vox just put out a new album called Retcon:

I especially like the song “Brother,” it’s a sad song so fair warning:
Little Simz - Stillness in Wonderland (Deluxe Edition)
Great album
I saw The Midnight in concert last week so I’m deep into their discography at the moment.
Killswitch Engage, mainly their 2002 and 2006 albums “Alive or Just Breathing” and “As Daylight Days”, respectively.
Aside from that, some of Timecop1983’s albums, mainly “Night Drive” (2018), “Faded Touch” (2021), and “Searching for Tomorrow” (2023).
All good stuff. KSE was best with Howard Jones imo.
I’ve been mostly listening to Big Special recently.
Napple Tale OST by Yoko Kanno.
