I think the problem is that Europe currently does not have the manpower to defend against an american invasion, especially since Greenland is easier for them to reach than for us. Refusing communication with that manchild might tempt it to do something aggressive faster.
Aside from the actual message he is sending, this level of English is what I would expect from a 7 year old.
Imagine being the people who are expected to, like, deal with shit like this… like how do you take this seriously? At the same time you have to not only take it seriously but also deal with the threats and shit… I certainly don’t envy them.
