While immigration officers support the Trump administration’s goal of deporting undocumented migrants, many of them have grown ‘disillusioned’ with leadership’s tactics, according to reports

Morale is “plummeting” among federal law enforcement officers tasked with carrying out the Trump administration’s aggressive anti-immigration operation, as they complained that long hours, ambitious arrest quotas and hatred from the public, according to reports.

While officers at Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Patrol, overseen by the Department of Homeland Security, said they supported the administration’s goal of deporting undocumented migrants, many of them have grown “disillusioned” with the tactics being implemented by leadership.

More than 20 current and former immigration officials told The New York Times of their discontent in the hours following the fatal shooting of 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti by a federal agent in Minneapolis.

It was the second deadly shooting of a U.S. citizen carried out by a federal agent in weeks, as officers clashed with protesters following intense public anger over the violence in Minneapolis.

If you are one of those people criticising peaceful protest as “not enough” this is proof it does something. It may not be enough on its own, but despite everything, they’re people and they suffer from repeated, massed, loud criticism and insults. This is the mechanism through which peaceful protests can work.

ICE has been living in a snowflake bubble thinking the majority of us do anything other than hate them.

I hope they realize that if the US survives Trump, having “ICE: 2025-?” on your resume will make you completely unemployable in the future. It will be like having “groundskeeper at Epstein Island” under your experience. You’ll be radioactive. Even if you leave it off, if you look suspiciously like a thumb and have a blank spot on your resume during this period, people will just assume that you worked at ICE and kick you out of their office.

It’s already too late to just quit. If you were a member of ICE and didn’t quit after Good was murdered, people will rightfully assume that you were OK with that murder. The only hope current ICE employees have is to turn whistleblower. Record in detail all the crimes your cow-orkers are confessing to, and then get that evidence to AOC or Elizabeth Warren, or another competent democrat with a backbone.

You can’t abolish ice by pretending the people will eventually vanish into nowhere or get ok with public ostracism. That’s marvel story, bud.

As sad as it is, I fear that you shouldn’t isolate them completely. Yes they fucked up and I completely understand your hatred, even feel the same, but there are just too many of them. I am not saying that you should copy post WW2 Germany in that regard, but at least take note

This reminds me of the story of the IDF soldier who couldn’t eat meat anymore because he crushed too many Palestinians under the bulldozer he was driving.

I don’t feel bad for any of these fuckers and I hope it gets worse for them.

The only thing that needs to plummet is their bodies from the gallows. Fuck the feelings of mass murdering, mass torturing nazis.

Basically anyone that’s good news, isn’t. At least these days.

But I do hope it is somewhat true. I would love to hear about rampant depression and a 100% “an hero” rate.

I don’t cheer for that often, but sometimes it seems 300% justified.

Oh, we don’t just hate you, ICE agents, we want you in prison for the rest of your lives at the very least. Or publicly hanged like the Nazis you are.

The morning after Benito Mussolini’s death, partisans dumped his corpse in Milan, and an angry crowd soon converged. The mob kicked, spat at, and urinated on the body of “Il Duce” while shouting curses at the dead dictator. His mutilated corpse was then hung upside down from a gas station, a symbolic retribution for the suffering he had caused.

Of all the shit I know about Mussolini, the most fucked up fact that sticks with me is that he laughed at running over a child. That is the piece of shit he was.

I do want them in prison forever, but I’m not really hopeful that will happen.
