United States President Donald Trump has suggested that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating the wealth of Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar as his administration grapples with the fallout from the killing of demonstrator Alex Pretti in Minneapolis.

The Republican president also said on Monday that he is sending his border czar, Tom Homan, to the state of Minnesota, which has been witnessing protests since federal immigration officers fatally shot Pretti, a 37-year-old nurse, there on Saturday morning.

“Additionally, the DOJ and Congress are looking at ‘Congresswoman’ Illhan Omar, who left Somalia with NOTHING, and is now reportedly worth more than 44 Million Dollars. Time will tell all.”

Omar’s net worth has increased into the millions of dollars in recent years due to her husband’s wealth. Omar serves in the US House of Representatives, representing Minnesota.

Well he needs people to be looking literally anywhere other than at him right?

“What’s with the obsession over the nothing burger Epstein files? I’m looking into corruption thanks to DOGE!”

"What’s with the obsession over DOGE? I’m bullying the president of Ukraine with V.P. Permaliner because we hate Ukraine and love Putin, right America?

What’s with the obsession over Ukraine? I’m cracking down on immigration with quotas!"

"What’s with the obsession over quotas? There are no quotas! Also don’t worry about those JP Morgan bank records of transaction between Epstein and Peter Thiel. Have some compassion, my dear friend Charlie Kirk was just publicly assassinated (within hours of the Senate finance committee bringing up those records). To honor him as a martyr for free speech, I will be cracking down on free speech and declaring anyone on the left who refuses to pretend he was the second coming of Jesus, an official terrorist. Also I need to pretend I don’t know Netenyahu is about to kill a bunch of scientists in Iran with Palantir drones, and then I’ll also bomb Iran for some reason, and help murder civilians in Gaza who are seeking food at the aid stations I set up for them.

What’s with the obsession over free speech, Israel, and the people who aren’t starving in Gaza? I’m sending the national guard to invade U.S. cities and show I’m tough on crime!"

“What’s with the obsession over the national guard and CIA trained child soldiers? I’m invading Greenland!”

"What’s with the obsession over Greenland? I’m sanctioning the murder of a U.S. citizen for free speech! And yes. I will be doubling down on it being their fault for thinking they have first amendment rights!

What’s with the obsession over government sanctioned murder of U.S. citizens for first amendment rights? I’m threatening Iran because of how many civilians the Iranian government has murdered over free speech. Could be a lot worse over here, just saying… Anyway, I’m sanctioning the murder of another U.S. citizen! And yes. I will be doubling down on it being their fault for thinking they have second amendment rights! You got a problem with it? Because we can just go down the line in order one by one. Their rights don’t count.

What’s with the obsession over government sanctioned murder of U.S. citizens for second amendment rights? I’m looking into a lady congressman’s wealth bc she’s a Muslim from Minnesota and she said some very hurtful things about me.

Doesn’t she have a rich husband and got married?

She has already submitted her tax returns, unlike a certain someone who promised them a decade ago.

My first rule of life: People are most suspicious of their own behavior. Cheaters think every one is cheating on them, thieves think everyone is stealing from them. If someone baselessly accuses you of something, they’re most likely doing it themselves.

Well we know the buying a property and claiming it as your primary residence was. As she showed the application for the loan to a source right after being accused of it. And then another news company followed up on it and showed Trump filed applications to buy two properties in Florida claiming they were going to be his primary residence… While simultaneously claiming his primary residence was elsewhere. (I think Mar-A-Lago, but can’t remember)

When the investigators are ideologically committed to punishing political opponents for any perceived slights, one doesn’t have to be guilty of anything to be worried about being investigated…

I guess Trump made this specific accusation because he saw the headlines about him making at least $1.4 billion in his first year back in office, and felt he needed to poison the well.

I know the DOJ has no credibility anymore, but god, imagine a world where they did their job and investigated the $400 million jet, the hundreds of millions of untraceable crypto and meme coins he’s started that foreign actors could use anonymously in violation of FECA and Constitutional emoluments restrictions, the “Board of Peace” donation fund controlled by Trump personally…

I’d actually support this if it wasn’t obvious retribution. We should constantly be closely watching how all elected officials are making money.

    • I appreciate your sentiment, but Ilhan Omar’s “sudden wealth” is entirely attributable to her marrying a wealthy guy. That’s it, that explains it all. She married well. The right is only making a stink out of it because their camp is full of people too stupid and hateful for the truth to matter.

Even if everything was completely above board, there should be nothing left for the public to find out about their representatives’ finances. If they don’t want scrutiny, don’t run for office.

Five bucks it’s just progressive PAC money and Small dollar donations as far as political contributions are concerned (which surprise Donald is totally legal or are you advocating that we get money out of politics and have a campaign system that is publicly run and financed.)

Omar’s husband owes a few business, that’s where the money comes from. Trump may be confused because those businesses are profitable, and not just a front for money laundering like most Trump ventures.
