Look, I want these ICE murderers get the justice they deserve (and you know exactly what I mean), but first degree murder seems like a stretch. It would be way easier to prove second degree and would still be a pretty harsh dose of justice.
When your priority is counting bullet holes as a doctor performs triage on your victim a case can be made for 1st degree murder.
They also had an altercation with Pretti a week or so before. So there’s a case for something like retribution here.
It’s also not uncommon for a prosecutor to shoot for higher murder charges to secure a plea on a lower classification and save on efforts in a trial and keep conviction rates high. The same thing often happens for drug distribution > possession > usage cases.
OK, MN District Attorney, there’s your case. File the charges. 1st Degree Murder, Conspiracy, and pile on everything else you can reasonably add. Sooner, rather than later. Justice delayed is justice denied.

100% it was meant to finish the job. Probably not the killer(s?) first rodeo either. The administration (mainly Miller and whoever has their hand up his puppet ass) pressures DHS to get new recruits as fast as possible without bothering to do a background check. DHS (Noem and her puppet master Lewendowski) are dumb and evil enough (not to mention fucking drunk on unchecked power and greed) to give their blessing for whatever commands Miller screeches.
Surprise of the century, in the rush to get rich by hurting America, DHS “accidentally” ends up hiring professional murderers to carry out their campaign of making America “safe.”
Same deal with Renee. Maybe he puts himself in danger (incompetence) and maybe he feared for his life with that 1st shot. But that’s a huuuuuuuuge stretch.

There is no such thing as non-lethal shot placement. One of the basic rules of gun safety is that you do not point your gun at anything you don’t want to destroy.
If you don’t want to kill someone, you don’t use a gun.
Firearms training doesn’t teach you to do some sharpshooter type “Shoot the gun out of his hand” shit. You’re trained to shoot center mass and shoot until the threat stops. That said, it’s really hard for me to believe that he was somehow a threat after a bunch of dudes kicked the shit out of him, then still a threat after shooting him in the back 5 times. That was a murder. Straight up.

Pretti should have shot first is all I’m hearing. It’s only a matter of time before that lesson is learned and someone does.
At what point during the events of that day could he have “shot first” and still lived?
So the solution is to give them what they want to go full SS.
This isn’t full SS? Dragging people from their homes and shooting people in the street?

At some point you’re acting more in self-interest than in the interest of a cause.

Let them confess it - no court will convict them for first-degree murder on the basis of that. Unless, that is, the United States has generally got its shit sorted out by the time it comes to court and ICE is being treated as a criminal secret police.

As far as I can tell by trying to brute force my way through that god-awfully formatted second link, different creators of different archive sites are beefing. Accusations of doxxing / the usual mishmash of online rivalry.
I’m yet to see one of these individuals that screams “malicious” actually explain or link their rationale. That causes me to distrust their motives pretty heavily
