minus-squareturboSnail@piefed.europe.publinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up35arrow-down1·1 day agoLE and ND? Not everyone lives in the acronym country.

minus-squareturboSnail@piefed.europe.publinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·18 hours agoLOL. Now this acronym actually makes a lot more sense.
minus-squareSynAcker@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up18arrow-down1·1 day agoDepends who you talk to. I know a guy in construction who has had to patch bullet holes in several LEO houses. Also at the sport men’s club I’m a member of, the only shooting injury we’ve had was from a state trooper during a training excercise.
minus-squareexaybachae@startrek.websitelinkfedilinkarrow-up2·23 hours agoIt’s dangerous. Don’t touch that. Not that way. What an I missing? I’d the fourth also the first?
minus-squareSequentialsilence@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up6·19 hours ago Keep your finger off the boom trigger until your ready to fire. know your target and what’s behind it. assume the gun is always loaded, even when you know it isn’t. never point it at something you aren’t willing to completely and utterly destroy.
minus-square[object Object]@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·21 hours agoReminds me of ‘Being a cop isn’t that dangerous’.
minus-squareanomnom@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3arrow-down1·18 hours agoI know very few Leo’s or vets, like only a couple. But one that I do know NDed himself in the thigh while servicing his gun. So you 0/N is somewhat offset by my 1/4.
minus-squareCar@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·17 hours agoServicing a gun with a round in the chamber is negligent unless you’re in active combat. There’s no context provided, but I can’t see any situation where you service a loaded firearm and point it at your thigh.
minus-squareanomnom@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·14 hours agoOh yeah totally negligent. Which was my point. There are plenty of negligent cops and service members for every careful one.
minus-squareBlumpkinhead@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·15 hours agoAre you saying he was cleaning a loaded gun? Or am I misunderstanding?
minus-squareanomnom@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·edit-215 hours agoWas a friend of my brothers and I think he did it while attempting to clear it before cleaning.

minus-squaredeadbeef79000@lemmy.nzlinkfedilinkarrow-up6·1 day agoAh, derp. TY. That seems really obvious in hindsight.
