Saints Row 2 was one of my favorite games mainly because you had the option of picking people up and throwing them to fight.
I made my character a giant, and I’m pretty sure I played through ~75% of the game without ever needing to use a weapon because I could just pick everybody up and take them out with one or 2 throws. I also remember giving her the derpy face option.
I wish SR 2 was available as a technically okay version. I have the GOG edition, but that suffers from the horrendous music quality and I believe frame rate issues. I seem to remember that it’s one of those games where they tied physics to hardware clock speeds and it would never run right if you couldn’t play it on the PS 3 or X 360. I will have to look into that because I would love to enjoy all those fantastic cutscenes once again.
One of the top SR2 modders was working on a patch for the PC version. He already had so much notoriety that Volition hired him to make the patch official.
Then he tragically passed away before anything could come from the partnership. RIP IdolNinja.

You could also do that in SR3, also upgrade the throw distance which made for really funny throws during missions in high places
