Trump says in social media post that Iran tried to ‘stop Trump’ and now ‘faces renewed war with United States’

Donald Trump on Saturday appeared to link the massive attack he ordered against Iran to his persistent claims about his 2020 election loss to former president Joe Biden, in a social media post about allegations that Tehran’s government interfered in the US president elections.

“Iran tried to interfere in 2020, 2024 elections to stop Trump,” his Truth Social post said, “and now faces renewed war with United States”.

Those words, written in the first hours of the bombardment of Iran, repeated the headline of an article to which he linked from Just the News, a Trump-friendly news site. “Iranian intelligence sought to undermine Trump’s re-election bid in 2020 through a variety of election influence efforts,” the article said. It also said Iran worked against him in 2024, when he beat Kamala Harris at the polls.

I want to see him start clutching on live TV. Most rewatched short of the decade.

It’s not going to stop when he’s gone. This is America and it’s growing and will continue to grow when he’s gone.

Shit talking trump and republicans doesn’t change anything. In fact it’s probably the exact type of entertainment distraction they want people to partake in.

I think it depends how he goes. Natural causes would just lead to infighting against various factions that split off - hell we’re kind of already seeing it with MAGA/America First.

If someone gives him what he deserves, however, it’ll unite those fuckers again and we’ll all keep having a really bad time.

So Russia, the Saudis, Israel and North Korean hackers notably helped Trump win his 2024 election. Does this mean Harris would have had the greenlight to bomb those countries?

Okay so this is how Narco Rubio or Netanyahu got Trump onboard with this plan. Blame Biden.

This is all trump, not these other guys. Rubio, the anchor baby, goes along with whatever trump says. Netanyahu looooooooves this because he now has the US backing. Why in the world would you think that trump wasn’t on board? He’s feeling the wrath of no one wanting this now, but he was stupid enough to be in on it to begin with.

Trump probably in principle agrees with it on any given day, but to go through with it, someone has to jingle keys in front of him for long enough before his dementia-addled brain gets distracted over the next gripe someone has to sell him. Like what happened in January with the Gordie Howe bridge.

Much about his current reign of terror is about him suffering a narcissistic wound by losing (bigly) in 2020.

Now look, if he bombed Moscow, then I’d be all for it as a world without Russia would be phenomenal.
