Well the vegans would be wrong as the definition of murder is to kill another human.
I think the way some vegans see this is that the definition of what constitues as murder is precisely the thing that is under debate here and should be extended to include deliberately and in a planned manner taking any life.
They’d be objectively wrong, since murder is defined as illegal homicide, not any unjustified killing.
