That’s what it is. The A-Bomb or Atom Bomb was the type of nuclear weapon dropped on Japan. It’s a fusion weapon rather than the later fission weapons called H-Bombs.
I think you have it backwards A bomb or Atomic bomb were fission bombs while H bombs or Hydrogen bombs were fusion bombs.
