I bought pants a couple of years ago for a trip to Chicago in December, since the ones I have didn’t fit and hadn’t been worn in 15 years; it was in the 20s (F) the whole week, plus wind chill. Typically, mid 30s and up, shorts. 35 or 120, anywhere in between.

I live in a desert so shorts all the time really.
