As a Venezuelan I can say, what a shameful exhibition

I left Windows 15 years ago (still have to use it for work every so often)… I have yet to encounter something cryptic breaking on Linux
When the things go wrong on Linux, which in my experience is rare, you are basically in Windows territory: reboot if you don’t know how to fix it or reformat/reinstall which is 10 times faster anyway
Right now, my daily driver is a branch of a branch (Garuda Linux which is fork of a branch of Manjaro which itself is a branch of Arch)… it comes with KDE as desktop which is awesome but I felt like experimenting with Hyprland which is not even at version 1.0 yet… and I basically configured it from scratch myself… I also share this box with my son who does use KDE as his desktop which is actually not recommended (KDE Plasma and Hyprland in the same box, I mean)
As per any advice you will find out there, this machine should be like the crazy robot in Futurama that explodes with no warning at any little thing and yet, it’s my daily driver for work, daily gamer for my son… rock solid and smooth… I have had 1 odd freeze I chose not to wait out and just rebooted the box in 9 months, and the freeze happened accessing Windows365 Desktop… go figure

You do not need Windows unless CERTAIN you play competitive online multiplayer games.

… and the American people are feckless sheep
PS: although I must recognize that, since the murder of Renee Good, it does seem that some are waking up

Windose users do not understand this meme

well, that is what the phrase contradicts… if things were rational, yes the retail market would directly and proportionally affect the financial markets… but in reality, the financial markets are more speculation than reality so you could be promising to sell polished turds with AI (which makes no sense, nobody wants and you won’t sell a single unit) yet your company’s stock is evaluated in the billions

The phrase you mentioned refers to the stock market where companies like Tesla, for example, has stocks at huge prices when every single measure of their actual capacity, sales, innovation, demand, etc are tanking

this is not “the market” that phrase is referring to

it’s incredibly shameful how these oposition figures are so quick to give away their country to the Orange Pedo for a shot at the presidency… not a thought about the Venezuelan people

I lost count of the many “if x happens we’ll act” excuses…

wow you guys truly have a victim’s complex

Serious question, what sort of constitutional amendment would you think would be enough to earn the world’s trust back?
None. The issue is not that you don’t have the right legal framework (although we can discuss a lot in that area). The problem is that you made it clear that whatever laws are in the books, they are for the poor people, if you are rich you are above the law and finally here we are. Trump has broken laws, ethical guidelines, policies, etc and literally nothing has happened.
Without changing a single law, if you had actually prosecuted Bush for war crimes (and actually punish him and his regime) we would not be here.
Some people alluded that Germany is trusted after the Nazis, but they seem to fail to see that they literally had to hang Nazis, ban all things Nazi and eat crow for a long while before things started turning.

Oh, you can fight us off from taking over other places; I was referring to other places trying to defeat us on our home turf.
nobody wants that and the internal infighting will take care of most of it anyway

Then, please organize and fight… don’t give up before attempting to leave the couch!

As an American, yes. There’s no way to take us on militarily
This is what you get wrong all the time… sure we cannot fight you head on and win… but you cannot colonize the world either. You could destroy the world and if so, congrats becoming kings of the smoldering leftover Earth
The USA thinks they can just conquer the world and plunder but history showed you could not do that in Vietnam, in Afghanistan, in Iran or Iraq… and this was when nobody at home was suffering much and nobody there cared about the brown people being slaughtered on the other side of the world

not sure what you call “last time” but in my last time, the USA became a distrusted entity with Bush and that never recovered. Now, it’s an active enemy (so it does keep getting worse)

Muricans, you do realize this is the end for you, right?
Nobody in the rest of the world will ever trust the USA. If you are still naive enough to think you can vote him out later, and by some miracle that does happen, the rest of the world will always distrust you

Does that include the US troops already stationed in Greenland?

why? (if you don’t mind me asking)
I find it slower than chromium with a ton of oddly organized settings
corruption is the cancer that took Venezuela long ago…
