It’s more about accessibility. It’s not like they make the games anymore and the emulators they have on the Switch are lackluster. You could buy shit on eBay but if it’s a super niche game it’d probably cost a lot of money. Money that doesn’t go back to Nintendo. It’s not like they’re going to lose money for someone playing a super rare game on an emulator.

So… Almost every single video pre switch besides speed running videos? Where the fuck else are they supposed to play them? By the time “let’s plays” we’re popular on YouTube we were in the time of the Wii or even passed it. And even if they didn’t emulate, they’d have to have bought the console off eBay where Nintendo makes zero money from the discontinued consoles. This is literally just control for the sake of control and it’s why I hate Nintendo.

We’re all against Windows. Fighting amongst ourselves is just gonna turn more people off Linux which is the opposite of what we want. If you’re trying to get people to switch, the last thing you should do is shame them immediately afterward. They’ll just go back to Windows where there’s less of a stigma.

My brother was having the same issue. He could call people just fine while his girlfriend couldn’t. He discovered that he can’t call anyone that has an iPhone and they can’t call anyone else.

Hey, I just got a phone call from my brother because he couldn’t call anyone. I have T-Mobile and he has Verizon. Funnily enough our call worked just fine but he couldn’t call his girlfriend. Apparently he has no problems calling people that are using Android but can’t call anyone using an iPhone.

That would just make them even bigger targets than they already are. And now they won’t have a way to defend themselves? That sounds like a nightmare. I used to play Overwatch and would always play support. There’s no way in hell i’d trust my team to help me if I’m being attacked. They’re probably just gonna jump ahead and say “I need healing!” fifteen times and call me a trash healer as I get the shit beaten out of me with no way to fight back. If this is how support roles worked nobody would play them. I already get left to my own devices as the rest of the team ignores me getting attacked in the back line. It’s already a thankless and painful role to play and this would make it unbearable.

As a purchaser of many games online, that makes sense to me. Especially for younger people growing up with this kinda stuff it would be nice to differentiate the two.

Something that will never stop being funny to me is seeing hardcore republicans and trump supporters getting caught doing gay stuff. Like, you wouldn’t have to hide it if you weren’t so desperately trying to create the stigma among your own party on a daily basis. It’s literally their own fault. If they weren’t against it you could just be gay and still support Trump and nobody would bat an eye. But instead they create this whole thing and just make it harder for themselves. I just find it so god damn funny.

Holy shit you’re not wrong. I just browsed the top of the week on World News for a good twenty minutes and there wasn’t a single post about the thousands of civilians that have been killed. I didn’t see a single pro Palestine post and anybody talking about the literal war crimes being committed over there we’re just downvoted. I think I agree with your word choice of “surreal.” It feels like straight up propaganda and they are all falling for it. Every post about Israel was just saying something about how they’re taking out the terrorists.
