Nazis that voted for Trump: I can’t believe we’re helping the fucking Jews now…
There aren’t only two sides to every issue. Thinking like that is limiting.
The major difference is money. We should be banding together against the rich, but instead we distract ourselves with what we look like, what we sound like, where we come from, what team (sports, town, city, state, country, …) we support, which sex we have, and a bunch of other things that divide us.
How are lemmy.ml and lemmygrad taking the censorship? Celebration?
Bud, fucking pay them and improve the working conditions, then you’ll get somebody who can be fucked. Dumb older people (and not only them) vote for austerity, lower taxes, lower social expenditure, increased burden on the young, and are then gobsmacked when the young can’t be fucked to work in low-paid jobs with a bad working environment. Brought it upon yourselves you dickheads.
Don’t let in the US migrants nor their ideologies 🤷
Only if the rest of the world lets them be influenced by the US. If major powers like the EU do, then it’s their own fault.
#AllMen but #NotAllWomen but #Equality, right?
According to a 2024 article in the International Journal of Sustainable Energy, Germany could have saved hundreds of billions of euros and reduced its carbon emissions by as much as 70% by embracing nuclear energy rather than rejecting it.
Good job German Greens! Well done! 👏👏👏
They are like the right wingers: ideology over facts. I bet if the conservatives win in the next election, fuck some other parts of the country but manage to introduce nuclear again, the next green government will go about undoing nuclear, regardless of its benefits.
Basically, when the right-wing CDU started the phase-out
LMAO. Completely false:
In 2000, the First Schröder cabinet, consisting of the SPD and Alliance ‘90/The Greens, officially announced its intention to phase out the use of nuclear energy. The power plants in Stade and in Obrigheim were turned off on 14 November 2003, and 11 May 2005, respectively. The plants’ dismantling was scheduled to begin in 2007.
Fukushima forced the hand of the CDU afterwards.
It was a dumb idea in 2000, a dumber idea in 2011, and amongst the dumbest ideas during the war. Unfortunately, the anti-nuclear people shot us all in the foot with their “what about our children in 1000 years” crap. So concentrated on the far far future were they, that they ignored what impact it would have on the near and medium term. Sure, the children in 1000 years might not run into nuclear waste, but they’ll be living in a climate change wasteland. Good job!
Better fire all degree-holders right now.
Many of us actually posting have either too much time on our hands, care about something deeply, or don’t care that much and just want to troll. Throw that together into one pot and you get a lot of attacks. It doesn’t help that you don’t see the person and many people don’t understand how different communication is without body language.
So, yes, I think it’s easy to feel attacked. The harder part is not to attack and most of us fail that, which is why the web is often so toxic. Personally, I try to care less and block more. Someone calls you a braindead nincompoop? Either block and call them an idiot off-screen, or leave a snarky message and then block. At least that’s what I do, and I forget about what happened like 5 minutes later.
Being poor isn’t a failure. You had bad luck and didn’t have things in place to protect yourself, which was a mistake. Learn from it. You’ve been up there before and know the path to it. Try and do better and you might make it again.
I bet your son will remember more about how you being there for him than the failure - regardless of whether you’re poor or not in the future.
Businesses don’t care about their employees beyond their output.
Definitely agree. Instead of getting in arguments with people, blocking is so much easier and less stressful.
Why is it posted here? Will it be opensource?
Glorious Chinese bike infrastructure. Officials should be seeing this as a reason to invest in it.
“As I sat in a restaurant eating my meal, I heard the owner criticising college students for having nothing else to do… I’m really sorry for affecting the people in Kaifeng,” the student wrote.
Gets customers, complains about customers.

@RedditWanderer “shouldn’t have been in Russia, lol”
Some people… what the fuck is wrong with them?
