Right, but storage and memory are clearly the bottlenecks on this computer and we’re pointing out how Apple is alleviating those bottlenecks

Additionally Apple has a bunch of cloud storage deals. I think most people store all of their photos and videos in iCloud which for most people is the majority of their storage space. I bet this is right in the sweet spot for usability, which doesn’t surprise me given Apple’s laptop history

Since you’re here I’ll assume you’re a nerd and suggest getting into Magic:the Gathering. You can learn to play on Arena for free and then buy a pre-made commander deck. At that point you can go to local game stores and ask when they have open play nights. The nice thing about magic is that the games take a long time to play so there’re a lot of opportunities to socialize with the people you play with and people nearby. Similarly if you can find an active Killer Queen cabinet around you those people are always desperate for players and it’s super fun
If you’re less of a nerd dance classes are more active and likewise force you to be in an intimate space with someone which will usually force you to socialize. You seem opposed to bars but karaoke crowds tend to be the same week after week, and you have to wait your turn, so it’s another socialization venue

When Trump got elected I joked about America spawning an anti-pope and how it’d been a good 500 years since our last one. After the pope became an American suddenly my joke felt less funny. Evangelicals claiming a “woke pope” and declaring an “American Pope” seems entirely plausible to me now

Neon White. I got it free recently on PS Plus and just fired it up to see what it was like. I ended up getting all the A ranks on every level and got all of the hidden items. The soundtrack also slaps

Overall I anticipate it being a net negative. Mergers like this result in fewer jobs, lower quality products and less competition
I mean… I led with that. I don’t like the merger, but I like it more than Netflix acquiring them. There are takes beyond black and white

I have mixed thoughts. Overall I anticipate it being a net negative. Mergers like this result in fewer jobs, lower quality products and less competition. However I love movies (check my profile if you want proof) and specifically I love going to the movie theater. Paramount has continued supporting movie theaters which is more than you can say about Netflix and Sarandos. Likewise Zaslav was just making anti-consuner decisions left and right. I can count on more than one hand the amount of times I’ve called that man a piece of shit. Not to mention Netflix’s slavish attachment to “the algorithm” just churns out a lot of slop
So while the merger is bad it’s probably the better of the two options and anything that reduces David Zaslav’s power is a net positive in my book, even if he makes a small country’s worth of money doing it

Sorry, we thought we were selling snake oil to give you boners but it turns out we accidentally put real boner medicine in it. That’s our bad, now please return it and definitely don’t give yourself raging hardons

Man I want to wear the big suit for Halloween but nobody would get it

I’m sure they’ll tell you this when you get there but Icelandic speed limits are a rule, not a guideline. I picked up a speeding ticket in Akureyri just going a few kmh over from a speed camera because of that

If you want some more recommendations I’d be happy to share. I really enjoyed my tour around the country in 2023

Gullfoss Falls in Iceland:

Just stunningly beautiful and close to Reykjavík. It’d be a massive mistake to visit Iceland and not see this
One of the craziest parts in retrospect to me is Adam Baldwin (Jayne from Firefly (no, not one of those Baldwins)) is the guy who coined the actual term “Gamergate”

Probably soda. I think most people enjoy Coke/Pepsi and the other mainstream choices are usually considered superior to the small batch artisan stuff

I actually did the math and it works out to 17% abv or about 34 proof. Certainly on the high end of what you should put in a solo cup but we also usually had ice and as previously noted, the objective was to get fucked up

If I remember correctly the recipe was 1 handle of Everclear, 1 case of Natty light and 1 or 2 of the pink lemonade blocks. Easy and guaranteed to get you blackout drunk

Yeah… water… we definitely weren’t using light beer to water down our hard liquor with this stuff

Counterpoint: John Oliver in sunglasses looks like a dork but he looks respectable in glasses
I’ve previously had a caffeine addiction and didn’t particularly enjoy it. So I make it a point to not have it daily. I’d say I usually have 1 small caffeinated soda with alcohol per week and a regular 8.4 oz Red Bull at some point during the week. So probably in total a little under 200 mg per week
The nice thing is that since I don’t consume much caffeine if I do want a kick I can have 120 mg and really feel it, but that’s usually reserved for particularly long days or days where my sleep gets messed up
