Also: open source relies on good jobs. You can only do it if you have a well paid low stress job with good hours. Those have been in short supply recently.

I would argue to be truly open source the training data needs to be as well.

They’re progressive in the sense that they don’t care over much about specific cultural values, as long as you don’t criticize, threaten power or break cultural homogeneity.
