That’s why he was fired

Oh man, I’ve pissed in the shower most days for years and have never once taken piss vapor to the face. What am I doing wrong?

I’d like to know how you jumped from “demonstrators in support of the Iranian government” to “deserves to die.”

This is way bigger than just Israel, most of the Gulf Arab states hate Iran and would love to see its government fall. They’ve been funnelling literally billions of dollars to the Trump family since just before he took office again. The Qataris, Emiratis, Bahrainis, and Saudis are all openly bribing Trump, and this attack is almost certainly at least partially, if not mostly, driven by their talks with Trump behind the scenes.
the fuck you talking about
Yes, I know my experience is far from universal in the US, but I’ve never had a job where I didn’t have decent PTO. Even working grocery and retail when I was young it was pretty good. Later for a hospital system I was getting 26 days + 9 paid holidays. Now I get 28 days + 11 paid holidays. These PTO policies apply to everyone too, from housekeeping to maintenance to licensed staff.
I haven’t looked into it, but don’t quite a few US states and localities also have their own PTO laws? I very much wish the US had federal laws in this regard, because I know there are many bad actors employing people

It would also task the Justice Department’s antitrust division, which brings civil suits to quash alleged anticompetitive practices, with enforcing the law.
Lmao

The pre-1950s focus was on entrance into “a new world of hope and communal solidarity”, whereas the post-Stonewall Riots overtone was an exit from the oppression of the closet.[15] This change in focus suggests that “coming out of the closet” is a mixed metaphor that joins “coming out” with the closet metaphor: an evolution of “skeleton in the closet” specifically referring to living a life of denial and secrecy by concealing one’s sexual orientation. The closet metaphor, in turn, is extended to the forces and pressures of heterosexist society and its institutions.

Does anyone have the numbers on how many people in the US received any sort of gender affirming surgery prior to age 18 in the past decade? I’m going to guess that number is 0.000015% of the population or less.
How many teenage girls got boob jobs with their parent’s permission during that period?
Too Many Cooks and Unedited Footage of a Bear ruined me

The risks aren’t the same everywhere, but even if you live in a low-radon area, your specific location may still contain high levels of radon. Best to just do a radon test on your house to be sure. You can get a home test for cheap.

Mistakes and regrets are a fundamental part of how we grow as people. What you learn from them and how much attention you give them later (e.g. letting go vs. dwelling in shame or anxiety) are what really matter

she had a valid visa
I’m sorry, did you miss this part?

Trump and his aides have pressed war planners for assurances that chaos produced by any U.S. military action would calm down in time for the midterm election season to kick into high gear.
He has no idea what he’s dealing with here. Iran is not Venezuela. I wonder who in his administration is pushing this and feeding him info about Iran, because he certainly doesn’t care about this independently

No one’s claiming black and brown people aren’t disproportionately targeted by law enforcement. I’m saying the argument that “no one cares when it’s a brown person” is patently false, and that the government-sponsored murders that occur on video are the ones that elicit a strong reaction, regardless of skin color.

Rodney King being brutally assaulted by LAPD was also caught on film, and it also made huge waves nationwide. Two of those officers went to prison and Rodney King was awarded $4 million in damages

I get where you’re coming from, but your argument is completely undermined by the fact that this murder wasn’t captured on video (in addition to only finding out about it 11 months later). The video really is everything. You might recall another person murdered by government officials on video by the name of George Floyd, a black man, whose murder made some pretty serious waves.
The people in charge of these companies already have all the money
Is there any evidence this is happening at Ars Technica? They’re pretty transparent about their methods, and obviously tech-savvy. Just because it happened at Teen Vogue doesn’t mean it’s happening at Ars. Conde Nast publications seem to be run pretty independently. Take The New Yorker, their content remains amazing and seems fully independent.
