      When this was posted on Reddit, people explained that the cat probably sees the snake as prey, and so brings it to the place where he/she eats prey.

          Cats are actually pretty good at dealing with snakes thanks to their quick reaction. Though it’s not a guarantee.

      If that’s a behavior they do to kittens, I can see that being the case.

      If anything, it’s the cat who’s anthrop… uh… felynomorphizing the snek
