Edit to add my opinion so I’m not just replying “I agree” to 90% of comments. I think it should be legal, properly regulated, taxed and viewed as a profession. I haven’t personally engaged in it but I have no moral objection to it. I do hate the common sentiment that it was the individual’s “only option” though.

        Yes, exactly. I sell my brain to work everyday. I definitely wouldn’t be sitting in this chair having meetings about other meetings if they weren’t paying me for it.

        I whore my brain out.

        Construction workers whore out their bodies. They get destroyed by that work. They have shorter lives because of it.

        So yes, if we’re okay with all of that, why not prostitution?
