doesn’t saying that when Alec deliberately added a fakeout ending spoil the original intent of the art? Aren’t you tainting arguably the best moment of the video for the person who watches it? The fakeout only lasts a few seconds while Alec stares ominously into the camera, so there’s very minimal chance after an hour watching a thoughtful, argumentative video that somebody’s going to immediately click on the next thing. I’m sure he very deliberately thought through a balance between faking people out and people clicking off – one which telling people “watch until the end I swear!” throws out the window.
Was about to watch it, then read “Please watch til the end. I guarantee you will not regret it.”

To be fair, Technology Connections as a YouTube channel is pretty good.
So I’d guess this video is well done as well, but I haven’t watched it myself yet
It’s well done…. Especially the end. Took me 3 days to get thru it, but the last 20 or so minutes were riveting
