Although the trial was Depp suing her for defamation, and the fact that she paid a settlement doesn’t actually mean anything was proven.
Amber Heard who is, ironically, defended for her case of domestic violence against Johnny Depp.
There’s a lot more nuance to it and both of them suck in the context of Heard vs. Depp, but she physically laid hands on Johnny Depp.

I don’t know, just watch and make up your own mind. For the record, I don’t think Amber is a saint, but clearly Johnny as some major issues. For instance, the fact that he wrote “I love you” on walls with his own blood is a verified fact (admitted by himself) and not the doing of a sane person.
