I’d rather be an ape a 100 times more than a fascist. At least then I’d have some reasonable excuse for my actions.

Was he even being disruptive, other than holding a sign? MTG was screeching during one of Biden’s and wasn’t escorted out.

Also, a republican trying to tear the sign out of his hands and then all of them chanting “USA” as Green is led out is fucking wild. I thought they were pretending to not be racists? Is that gone now?

Trump makes racists feel safe to be openly racist. He has since his first term after he wouldn’t denounce his endorsement from the former grand wizard of the kkk. Since the “good people on both sides”.

Unrelated, but just a reminder its ok to punch nazis 👍

actually I think I just watched an old West Wing episode about this recently. I beleive there is a rule about when and where you can carry plaquards, signs and posters, so he likely had to be removed by the rules but was doing it deliberately.

Not a criticism of the method, just explanatory.

        Honestly I think it’s brilliant.

Imagine having to go to some event where the speaker smells like diaper shit and dementia-rants for three hours.

Bring a sign, get lots of photos, then forced to leave… All before a single geriatric shit smell hits your nose.

How about you clarify what you mean, because right now, ambiguity implies that you think black people are apes. And if you’re trying to make the joke that “all humans are primates”, it’s probably not the best time, or at least you’d better do it carefully to make sure it’s funny and not cringe.

edit: Brief perusal of your comment history implies that it’s not very likely you were going for a super-racist joke; probably the “all humans” thing. Maybe rework it a bit? :)

        Time and place.

It’s “All lives matter” energy while ignoring the root issue.

I had thought about making the statement too, “well, we are all actually apes” but then I thought better against it

Agreed. I came to this comment section to see whether someone would make that point and whether they could do it without pissing everyone off.

I didn’t expect it to be so amateurish and in all likelihood racist.
