Angie Craig can go to hell.
She regrets that people didn’t like it, not that she did it. Turns out, people don’t like detention camps, and, turns out further, people don’t want people responsible for them in power.
If she truly regretted it, she would drop out and start working against them elsewhere because she’s proven she can’t be trusted to protect people while in politics. She can fuck right off until she does good.
She knew it was wrong when she did it. Now that it’s inconvenient for her she apoligizes. Primary her ass.
Fuck that. She should have read the Constitution before voting on this shit:
“allowing for detention of noncitizens without bail if they’re charged with burglary, assaulting a police officer or other crimes”
Being granted bail after being accused of a crime but not yet convicted is NOT some special right only given to citizens. The laws of our country apply to all PEOPLE, not just citizens. The Constitution is pretty clear on that.
