    Martin is the second person to attempt to enter Mar-a-Lago with the intent to kill the president, and the third in general. In 2024, Ryan Routh attempted to assassinate Donald Trump at the Florida estate. He was recently sentenced to life in prison. And of course, Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to kill Trump in Pennsylvania in 2024. All three were white men.

    I don’t know how many more trump supporters trying to kill trump it will take for people to realize he’s actually losing support…

    But at least they’re not attacking innocent people.

      i have a feeling there are a lot more calculated killers out there waiting to see how the midterms turn out. will a wave of progressives get enough control to hold people accountable or just “business as usual”

    One nit to pick: the guy who was just convicted and given life in prison did not make his attempt at Mar-a-Lago, but at Trump’s golf course in Southern West Palm Beach (located, fittingly enough, on Gun Club Road). Mar-a-Lago does not have a golf course.

        In the article, toward the end, the article mentions the earlier incident and claims that that incident was also at Mar-a-Lago. Which it was not. I was referring to that bit.
