That’s a strange picture, considering how women have never pushed for equal representation in blue collar work or any of the ‘shitty’ jobs.

Women absolutely have pushed to break down barriers in the trades and blue collar fields. Women are also demeaned, under-considered, and sexually harassed every step along the way.

Not sure how it’s elsewhere, but in Germany most woman in blue collar jobs quit within the first year of training, because they are not taken seriously by teachers and colleagues (not sure where i read this… i think there was a study last year)

Not at all true, there are certainly organisations pushing for equality for women in blue collar work. First search engine result

Search query. Who’s helping women with blue collar jobs. Whoa! first results tells me women are being helped with blue collar jobs. Hmm, I wonder why helping women with blue collar jobs was an article in the first place. I’m sure there wasn’t a problem before the article.

Mexican here, this was an act. She was in a great deal of political pressure because a prominent politician/activist not associated with the regime of the ruling party, Morena, was killed and she tried to minimize it.

AMLO, the former president, founder of Morena, used to do this ridiculous acts too. Somehow a rando could walk to him taking a (fan) letter out from from his jacket, and hug him, in national TV, while his massive security team did absolutely nothing. Claudia Sheimbaum also has a massive security apparatus, this doesn’t happen without them allowing it.

The guy apparently has appeared in older videos as part of her security team, and in some angles you can see he has a holster. We Mexicans joke that all the randos doing these ridiculous but very convenient acts have an army haircut. So far it has held true, your kids do better acting at the spring festival.

Just as people demand Trump to stop distractions about the Epstein files, people here demand Sheinbaum to stop distractions and solve the public execution of Carlos Manzo by the cartels.

If the cartels wanted her dead, no amount of security would save her. She’s only in that position because the cartels allow her to be in that position.

My boobs got groped in public the first year they were appealing to men. I didn’t even realize what had happened at first.

Edit: I’m trans and my boobs became first attractive to men in my 40s. The incident I’m describing happened in the US.

It doesn’t need to be fine to do. It just needs to be doable without consequences. Even if just 1% of men are shitty enough to do it, that will be enough for almost every woman to suffer from it.

People is talking in México, everybody is saying (including me) that is a smoke screen for the last events that have took place in the country: Waldos’ incident in Hermosillo and Carlos Manzo’s murder in Uruapan, both happening the same day, the Day of the Dead’s eve.

Edit: If really is a smoke screen, Morena is showing us once again that you always can get lower. Only they can use a real problem like women harassment to make people forget that Mexico is mad and we want a real change.

Edit 2: It’s already happening: https://www.jornada.com.mx/noticia/2025/11/05/politica/ony-y-onu-mujeres-respaldan-a-sheinbaum-tras-episodio-de-acoso I hate this goverment so much

Again, the guy in the video holds her shoulder and leans in for a kiss, but stops short of kissing her because he was told to by her security. Are you a white american? I believe mexicans over you

Again, if this were not taged then obviously youre in the right to be upset, but there is a potential this was staged. Why couldnt this have been staged as the mexican people in this thread keep saying

I’m saying that men have groped women many orders of magnitude more frequently and Occam’s razor should apply. You can turn this into a false flag conspiracy and blame the woman who got groped, on zero evidence Just don’t claim you’re serious about women’s issues if you do. You can’t have it all.

You can imagine how much we have seen this kind of behavior before. Women that are obviously culprit, mocking off real victims of sexual abuse, wanting to be shielded by sorority. Here Claudia Sheinbaum “is another victim”, she felt harrasded, like Carlos Manzo did when he asked for help for its city and was completly ignored.

Acaba de pasar completamente a segundo plano.

No opposing to that! Though they deserve much worse. It should be like this: Punishments are scaling as one’s class, so they should know their responsibilities better. If you see yourself above the society, you deserve punishment. And I fear it’s pretty common among the ruling class around the world.

I wish. Most people don’t even get serious times for murder. They get remission for some reason and kill someone again when they’re out. Serving time doesn’t change their behaviour. It might work for some people but it definitely doesn’t work for some. Where is justice if you can’t prevent it after seeing their previous misdemeanors?

Technically true, but sexual assault on men is even more underreported than sexual assault on women. We can’t let other men know we’re weak. Same goes for non-sexual assault. Two exes have been regularly violent to me and I just kept going because I’m not admitting in public that a woman is beating me. I just took it “like a man”, knowing full well I could knock them the fuck out, but choosing not to hit back.

So we really don’t know how much sexual violence is perpertrated against men by women. After all, men always want it, so we can not be raped by women. Unless it’s a particularly fugly woman maybe?

My point is, toxic masculinity and all that. We don’t know how much is being hidden.

I know exactly what you mean. When I (cis man) was freshly 18 in the 00’s I was indecently assaulted by an older woman in a bar when I walked past her and her group of friends and I never reported it. I have friends who experienced similar who never reported it either. When I told my friends that night what had just happened I was told I was lucky to be non-consensually grabbed by a woman. I tried to tell myself that was the case for a long time; it took many years before I came to realise that I was assaulted and, by that point, there was nothing I could do about it.

You see it in fiction all the time:

            • HumanA: “Demons killed my parents”
            • HumanB: “Orcs ate my child”
            • ElfA: “Humans abducted my siblings and sold them in the slave market.”

Sadly, but which of course doesn’t imply the reverse.

You sound exactly the same as the people who tell sexually assaulted women that they’re “making shit up”

all sexual offenders can go fuck themselves, regardless of gender.

93.6% of sexual abuse offenders were men. This is an overwhelming statistic. Not all men are sex offenders but almost every sex offender is a man

Not who you responded to, but evidently someone needs to point out that you didnt read their question, or you maliciously misinterpreted it.

Edit: nope they did actually answer the question, im just shockingly bad at reading which is very unusual for me.

It appears that you’re the one who didn’t read my response. “Not all men are sex offenders but almost every sex offender is a man”

…so you’re just ignoring their question to substitute your own. Very nice strawman, but it does appear pretty malicious at this point.

I mean you’re not wrong, but women aren’t much better. If this man runs for office tomorrow, 50% of women would probably vote for him.

The same creep who whines and cries and complains about how the HR department is a conspiracy to oppress white men will be cornering the fucking CTO in the break room at the first opportunity.

Only way to deal with these assholes is to shove them in a concrete box until they sober up and learn manners.
