An internal memo from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) suggests that agents are authorized to enter the homes of immigrants and citizens alike without a judicial warrant — an assertion that violates the Fourth Amendment and several years of caselaw stating otherwise. The memo was first made public in a disclosure from whistleblowers within the federal government, with the help of…

They don’t have time to comment because they’re too busy with their new jobs at ICE.

It sure is and their stance is arm yourself and learn how to use it. If you’re not willing to defend yourself why would you expect someone else to take on the risk?

I’m sure they’ve haven’t been this hard in years.

It was always projection. They stockpiled those weapons and identified as ammosexuals as not-so-veiled threats to others. The same others that ICE is going to go after, at least at first. All that jaw-jacking about “government overreach” is just projection.

Trump and Stephen Miller wants ICE to get shot, as an excuse to bring in the Army. It’s so obvious.

But it’s all about the public opinion. If enough people see the obvious tyranny and fascism, they will be moved towards direct action. Think like, average midwest working mother who normally doesn’t follow politics at all. The wide public opinion of the situation will determine how effective the response is.

It doesn’t help that the Right has a highly effective and wide-reaching propaganda machine in Fox, Newsmax, OANN, TPUSA (all funded and led by Heritage and others).

It’s why Putin, Hitler, or other imperialists make up some flimsy self-defense reasoning by giving their targets some kind of treaty they know is unfair, so when the target doesn’t sign it, they take military action and invade the target “to protect their own people”. It’s all about public opinion because there are WAY WAY WAY more of us than there are of them.

But when you realize that’s their goal you have to have a next step is all. I’m not sure what a good one is, either kowtow and submit or fight back and possibly get crushed. The second step will be thought of by someone remembered if things go well. Mean maybe the government just shoots themselves in the foot like the do half the time and spark something on their own too. Maybe doesn’t need a thought out second step but that’s never something you can count on.

Needs people resisting as a first step for sure though which has been shown in Minneapolis, they are making me happier by the minute to be relatively close to such people. Mean I do wish they didn’t have to deal with the situation of course but people showing their distaste for fascism I fully support them.

I am across the border getting threatened bi weekly by the president of the US so it’s hard to show direct support.

Unfortunately nothing is a guarantee. Even after the birth of this country Benjamin Franklin said we have a democracy if we can keep it. It would be a shame for the American people to not put up a good fight to try and salvage what we’ve enjoyed and allow these criminals to take everything our grandparents and great grandparents sacrificed so much for.

A shame is putting it lightly, I agree with that all. Many people died for the US to be what it was, it may not have been the best but they used to do more than shake down everyone to fill their president’s pockets.

Now it’s a mob racket. I bet people who died in WWII on the allies side would look on the USA now with the wtf? Look.

I think the understated part is that it’s letting criminals win. Sure you can hum and haw about legalities of actions but it’s the straight up mob running the US right now. Just unfortunately the stupidest crime family.

Are you telling me that conservatives were always lying all these years about supposedly loving “freedom” and “liberty” and the Constitution?

    LOL.

If they decide to come into my home without a warrant, all I ask is that they’re polite enough to send Bovino in first.

So if desk monkeys at a fed agency can grant themselves the power of issuing warrants to authorize whatever they want, what stops me from doing the same?
