Donald Trump said in an interview released on Sunday that he did not think he would run for president again in 2028 if he loses this year’s race for the White House.

In an interview on the Full Measure television show with Sharyl Attkisson, the former US president – who ran in 2016 and 2020 – was asked whether he saw himself running yet again in four years time.

“No, I don’t,” Trump answered. “I don’t see that at all.”

He said: “Hopefully, we’re going to be successful.”

Well he definitely said that in 2020, and if someone had had the foresight to ask him in 2016 he probably would have said it then as well, so I’m going to go ahead and be a little skeptical here.

it doesn’t matter what’s “visible” when your entire reality is fabricated by trump, fox news, and your safe space private far-right facebook group

Well, if he continues on the current slope, Trump will not be able to fabricate anything much longer. Even Fox “News” has problems loving him anymore. The third “piller of reality” will take a bit longer to fall, true.

There is no supposing. JD Vance is already saying once he is VP he will not certify the election if Trump loses again.

I want to see him flee to Russia and see how Putin handles him after he’s done being useful. Will Putin finance his lavish lifestyle to show others that working with him might pay off or will Putin deal with him more harshly for failing to get America out of his imperialist way? Or maybe Putin will make a show out of promising to support him financially but then a “rival” will deal with Trump, making Putin very angry but there’s nothing that can be done now, such is life.

Or would Trump even be willing to flee if it means losing SS protection, now that he knows at least two people wanted to shoot him badly enough to risk their lives on it?

You know someone already has a AI trained on all his speeches and body language. There will be so many deep fans out there after his death it’ll be like all the Binladen videos that were found of him before seal team 6 found him.

I imagine the SI videos will all have a simple background of an obvious bathroom wall, where you can tell he’s on the shitter, all the low flow toilet talk will set the location. A bucket KCF next to him with a diet Coke he will do all his greatest hits, the wall, hillary, biden, his dick, how smart he is bc his uncle was a Professor at MIT, he is treated unfairly, ect, ect.

Come on, name one time he’s ever lied before. You can’t even name two. There’s not even a dozen times. Certainly it’s less than a hundred? A thousand?

ETA: Wikipedia says it’s nearly 31000 just while he was president, if you count false or misleading, still more than 5000/2.5 yr if you only count outright falsehoods.

The fact that you need to make an encyclopedia to present a conservative point of view is just so, so telling. Just presenting facts should be sufficient, but facts are notoriously liberal, so…

Yeah, conservatives have always needed their safe spaces where can be free from independent thinking and rigorously checked facts.

People just didn’t notice before because their safe spaces included every place where the rich and powerful resided, including the totality of government.

And because of them formerly being the unchallenged default, they still consider their bad ideas the only right ones, so it must be the majority of the politically civilized world that’s wrong 😄

This is the same guy who he insists he won in 2020 and is supposed to be sitting president now. By his logic, he’s running for a third term.

He’s also said that he will become a dictator on day one if he’s elected this year. Why would he run in 2028 if he abolishes elections or makes a loophole to stay in the White House?
